It has been far too long since my last post and my group’s last D&D session. I moved about 100 miles away a few months ago and started a job that requires a minimum of 60 hours a week. I love the job BUT that seriously kills my time for D&D. However, the adventuring party reassembles this coming weekend (Dec. 17th) for the night of a lifetime…
The group continues their search for Starfire, the mysterious creature that has been one step ahead of them the entire campaign on a quest to build a weapon of mass destruction. They head to the desert city of Maetrage to search out the last clues for Starfire. In their shared vision, they encountered a group of drow that stood between them and Starfire. In Maetrage, a city with a direct connection to the Underdark, they know they will find the only drow in the land. Hopefully, they will also find Starfire or perhaps more clues to his whereabouts. Saturday, we will find out!
I plan on doing more “group world-building” this time around. I read about it in the Dungeon Master’s Guide 2. It looks like a fun way to add more group interaction and I will post more on it after the session to detail how it went down. Until then, I urge you to all KEEP PLAYING D&D! Do it for those of us who wish we could play more. Happy gaming!
